You May Have PMS…But I Have PMA
Staying Positive in a Negative World
You hear it all the time. One friend is complaining about this, while the others are complaining about that. It’s true, they just want, or need to complain. They in fact have PMS…Pessimistic Mental Syndrome.
It is a negative world, but one does not have to be negative. One can choose PMA over all else. It can be a challenge, but it can be attained.
What is PMA you ask? Positive Mental Attitude!
How does one achieve it? By looking for the positives instead of the negatives in their life.
For each action, there is a reaction. If you react in a negative way, negativity will come back. The same goes for attracting positives. You get back into your life, what you put out into the universe. I truly believe this.
So, how can one stay positive. Well, you can’t all the time, but you can look for the positive in a negative situation.
For example, I have a friend who is constantly complaining about her teenage daughter. She complains all the time, about everything. No money, no this, no that. She hasn’t taken the time to see the positives in her life. Her daughter is a good student, doesn’t get into trouble, and is helpful in the community. She doesn’t do drugs, and she has good friends. What more could you want in a child?
If you look hard enough, and granted you have to be looking and be honest, you can find a positive in any situation.
Take time to look for the positives in your life. Through all the clouds, smoke, dust and pain there is a positive waiting for you to find it.
Go out there and grab it and tell the world… You may have PMS…but I have PMA.
