Wearing Living History
We both love history, and do Victorian reenactments whenever we get the chance. Besides Cloverleaf Farm, my other passion is sewing. Thornton Square was born from that. I wear long skirts for most everything. Including gardening. They are warm in the winter, and cool in the summer.
We often wear our Victorian clothes out and about town too. They are so comfortable, and we like them. We do get a few looks, but we really don’t mind. We are different, and we know it. Wearing them is also a great advertisement for Thornton Square. All the clothes are sewn using cotton fabric in prints and styles that would have been popular during the 1800’s.
Ah, life on the farm.
