Turning An Antique Into Shabby Chic

I happen to have a fondness for old, and antique chairs. Some, would even say I have a fetish. I have more chairs than I could ever use in a life time, but it doesn’t stop me from collecting more. I say it’s a passion.
There they sit at the side of the road with a “FREE” sign on them. How could anyone not resist bringing it home, and giving it a new life.

After I get them home I tear them down to the bones, and start fixing them up. New screws and glue when necessary, and then I move onto the painting. A piece of beautiful fabric is the finishing touch. Voila, I now have a new, antique, shabby chic piece of furniture. I sell some, and put the rest to use.
