The Groundhog Day Blizzard
The Groundhog Day Blizzard is roaring outside, but we are warm and toasty in our kitchen filling bottles and packaging up orders.
During the winter our shop is closed, so we use our harvest kitchen as our laboratory, packing department, photo studio, and labeling department. It is nice to work by the warmth of the wood stove.
It is expected that we’ll get upwards of 2 feet of snow, but we don’t care. We are as busy as bees in the summer time. We have been packaging up our new Rejuvenating Night Cream, and working on getting our Elderflower Day Cream ready for next week.
Our Herbal Infused Oils are a big hit, and the Rose Infused Oil, will be ready to be shipped out on Friday…barring any storm delays.
It’s a good day for cooking, so later today, I’ll be making fresh 3 squash soup for lunch, and hopefully some home made bread to go with it. After lunch, I will go back into my “laboratory” and start work on our next item that will be debuting by the end of the month…3 C’s Herbal Healing Salve. We are excited about that one, but I’ll post more on that later.
So, as the Ground Hog Day Blizzard whips around outside, we’ll be warm and toasty by the wood stove, in tank tops pretending it was July.
