Effingham Earth Day Celebrations
In honor of Earth Day, Effingham, NH, has planned a few town wide events on Saturday, April 25.
In the morning, Effingham Conservation Commission is sponsoring it’s annual KELF (Keep Effingham Litter Free) Day. Pick up a trash bag at the fire station in the morning, pick up trash, and return at Noon for a BBQ.
At 10 a.m., The Effingham Public Library is sponsoring “The Wonderful World of Bee’s” with bee keeper Dave Sorrenson. At 1 p.m. ,the library will sponsor for kids of all ages “Planting a Pizza Garden”. Kids will get to color Earth Day scenes and will then get to read one of the newest kids books in the library.
To top off the family day of fun is the Spring Fling Family Dinner and Dance, put on by Celebrate Effingham. Come listen to your favorite tunes with Jammin DJ. Dinner is from 6-7:30, and the dance starts at 7.
