Daylight Savings 2011
It seems a bit early in the year to start daylight savings. Since the rest of the country is doing it, I guess I have no choice.
I can remember when it use to start at the end of April. That makes a bit  more sense to me. No one asked me anyway.
No matter when it starts, it also messes with my internal clock. I like having the longer daylight hours, but it takes weeks for my body to adjust.Â
I was curious to the history of daylight savings time, so I just had to search to find the answer. It seams that people have been doing it for one reason or another for centuries.  According to Wikipedia, even Benjamin Franklin knew the advantage to rising early and using the daylight hours  to save on candles.
While, we don’t all use candles now, it does make for a nice long light filled day. That, we can all be happy about.
I still wish they would stop playing with time, and just stick to one. It would make my body happy.
