Almost There

Wow, I am actually seeing the end to the planting. Only a few more packets to go. Yesterday we worked on the “Crabtree” garden. It is called this, because it butts up against their property. Each garden has a name. That way we know what is where. I also have maps of where everything is planted.
We have decided to start a Work For Veggies Program at our farm. It is a form of community supported agriculture, or CSA. Volunteer?? 4 hours a week, and get free veggies all summer…our pick. We have thought about starting this before, and realize it is a good idea all around. We get the help we need, and someone gets the veggies they need.
