Mostly the Planting

For anyone who has seen the movie For Richer, For Poorer with Tim Allen and Kirstey Alley, they would understand why you would take in total strangers around planting season. It it hard work. We still have one garden we are working on, and another we haven’t even removed the sod from. I don’t know how the Amish do it with just a horse and plow. We had it rototilled, and it is so hard pulling out all the sod, and root. Oh, the roots. I have never seen so many roots where there aren’t any trees. But, we have done alot of work, and really don’t have much more to do. The in-laws came to visit, and helped out immensely both in the garden and taking up the kitchen floor. It is amazing how much work you can get done with more people around.
“Many hands make light work”. Now I know why farmers have lots of children around.
